As autumn progressed I often took a drive to St. Patrick's church in Nelson Miramichi to check on the vines on the west side of the church when they reached this lovely cherry red I knew I had to do a little painting as the entire scene seemed to have this glorious glow. I would have to have sat in the middle of the church driveway to paint this en pleinair... so this is another painting done from a photo.
